About this policy
ZiGO (formerly CoreBook) is operated by Mr. Vanlalsiama, trading as VeloTech, a sole proprietorship.
Business address: Bawngkawn, Brigade, Aizawl – 796001, Mizoram, India.
Application identifier: com.velotech.corebook on Android. ZiGO is designed for use by adults aged 18 and over. This policy applies to ZiGO applications and related account services.
Information and where it belongs
Under ZiGO’s local-first architecture, your day-to-day business entries, financial records, income, expenses, and attached documents are stored directly in your device’s local SQLite database. They are not automatically uploaded to central VeloTech administration servers or VeloConsole.
Data handling is divided into distinct categories: local device business records; optional user-initiated Google Drive backup archives stored in the user’s Google account; basic authentication identifiers processed via Google Sign-In; and subscription verification metadata (such as purchase tokens, product IDs, and expiry dates) processed to confirm paid entitlements.
Google Sign-In
Google Sign-In is used to verify your identity and create your ZiGO account. It provides a secure way to access your account without transmitting your Google password to VeloTech.
We receive only standard authentication tokens and the basic profile identifier necessary to maintain your account session.
Subscriptions and payments
All subscription purchases and transactions are processed directly by Google Play Billing. VeloTech does not receive, process, or store credit card details, bank account numbers, or reusable payment credentials.
To verify subscription entitlements, our backend receives and validates necessary purchase metadata from Google Play, including purchase token references, product identifiers, subscription status, and entitlement expiration dates.
Local records and Google Drive backups
ZiGO uses local SQLite storage on your Android device as its primary business-record database. Protection of data on your physical device depends on your device’s security settings, screen lock, and operating system controls.
Optional Google Drive backup functionality is available in the Android app, allowing users to export backup ZIP archives to their own Google Drive storage. These backup ZIP archives are not encrypted by ZiGO at the application level and may contain sensitive business entries, financial transactions, customer records, staff details, attached files, and unfinished drafts.
Google Drive backups are stored under your personal Google account, not on VeloTech servers or administration platforms. ZiGO does not provide automatic background synchronization, cross-device restoration, or guaranteed cloud data recovery. Restoring data from backups is dependent on the integrity of the exported archive and user-managed Google storage.
Services that support ZiGO
ZiGO relies on trusted infrastructure providers: Google (Google Sign-In and Google Play Billing), Supabase (secure database for authentication and subscription metadata), and Cloudflare (secure DNS, TLS, and static hosting for legal documents).
ZiGO contains no third-party advertising SDKs or tracking cookies. This legal portal contains zero tracking scripts, analytics, or third-party cookies; it stores only your preferred display appearance (Light/Dark/System) locally in your browser.
Keeping information secure
We implement standard technical and organizational security measures to protect account identity and subscription status records against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
Because your primary business entries reside locally on your device, we strongly encourage keeping your device operating system updated and protecting it with a strong PIN, password, or biometric lock.
Retention
Account credentials and subscription status records are retained as long as your account remains active. Routine operational server and network access logs are retained temporarily for diagnostic, stability, and security purposes in accordance with operational hosting policies.
Account deletion requests submitted via email undergo manual intake and identity verification. Because automated backend deletion workflows are currently in development, deletion requests are handled manually, and records are removed once verified and operational procedures permit, subject to legal and financial compliance holds. Minimal records of purchase transactions may be retained where required by applicable taxation, accounting, or statutory dispute requirements.
Your choices and deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account records at any time by contacting siama232@gmail.com.
Please note that deleting your account records, removing local records from your phone, and canceling a recurring Google Play subscription are separate actions. See our Account Deletion page for step-by-step guidance.
Children’s privacy
ZiGO is intended strictly for adults aged 18 and older for business and professional organization. It is not intended for or directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe an underage individual has created an account, please contact us immediately.
Regional availability
ZiGO is operated from Mizoram, India, and may be made available in selected regions through the Google Play Store subject to regional regulatory requirements and Google Play distribution settings.
Users retain non-waivable statutory rights granted by mandatory consumer protection laws in their jurisdiction of habitual residence.
