Requesting account deletion

To request account deletion, send an email to siama232@gmail.com with the subject line “ZiGO account deletion”. In your message, specify the Google account email address you used to sign in to ZiGO.

Security instructions: Do not send passwords, one-time verification codes (OTPs), government identity cards, or business record files. Routine request intake does not require sensitive credentials.

Request intake and verification

Current operational status: An automated end-to-end account deletion backend is currently in development. Account deletion requests are received manually and logged for verification.

Identity verification: Requests require verification to ensure the requester is the authorized account owner. Sending an email from an address alone does not automatically prove account control; appropriate verification steps will be communicated by the operator.

Processing: Once identity is established, account records and authentication mappings will be scheduled for removal from our databases, subject to any necessary statutory compliance or dispute retention requirements.

Confirmation: You will be informed when your request has been reviewed and verified. Deletion is not treated as completed until confirmed after manual processing.

Scope of server account data

Server account records: Deletion applies to your Google Sign-In authentication identity, internal account ID, and profile metadata held on our server database.

Independent data stores: Local database files on your phone and Google Drive backup archives are stored outside our server database and are not removed by a server deletion request.

Removing records from your device

Because ZiGO stores your business entries locally in SQLite, deleting your server account does not delete data from your phone.

To remove local data: Open Android Settings > Apps > ZiGO > Storage > tap “Clear Storage” or “Clear Data”, or uninstall the app. Warning: Clearing local data without a separate verified export will permanently delete your records and drafts.

Google Drive backups under your account

Backups exported to Google Drive are stored directly under your personal Google account storage, not on VeloTech servers. Deleting your ZiGO server account cannot and does not erase files from your personal Google Drive.

To review or remove backup archives from Google Drive: Access your Google Drive account, locate the ZiGO or CoreBook backup files or folder created by the app, and delete them according to your own Google account preferences.

Billing records and legal retention

Subscription transactions processed by Google Play are retained by Google in accordance with Google’s terms and privacy policies.

Minimal purchase verification metadata and transaction identifiers may be retained by VeloTech solely where necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or fraud prevention obligations.

Manage your Google Play subscription separately

Important: Deleting your ZiGO account, requesting deletion, or uninstalling the app DOES NOT cancel an active Google Play subscription.

To prevent future billing, you must cancel your subscription directly in Google Play: Open the Google Play Store app > tap your profile icon (top right) > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > select ZiGO > tap Cancel subscription.
